Amsterdam airport has teamed up with the Rijksmuseum and is to open an art gallery at Schiphol.
Amsterdam airport has teamed up with the Rijksmuseum and is to open an art gallery at Schiphol. The gallery will be situated behind passport control and so will be ideal for filling in that otherwise dead time waiting to proceed to departure gates. Amazingly for such a good idea, it seems to be a world first – although it is probable that other airports will follow suit with such a great opportunity to show off national treasures, provided, of course, that passengers do not attempt to take them with them when they board!
