The Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa, which will open this month, will be Marriott’s second full service resort in Spain. Its location in La Sella on the Valencia coast is about an hour from both Valecia and Alicante airports, and is situated in a quiet area amidst orange groves. Barcelona and Madrid are about 4 hours away by car. As well as normal hotel rooms and suites there are also 166 apartments available through the Marriott vacation ownership division. The resort features an 18 hole golf course and a 1200 square metre spa which incorporates treatment rooms, a whirlpool spa and a winter garden.
